Before surgery, Jill will have to have a 4 month series of chemo, every other week. (In order to shrink the two tumors in her left breast).
After a one month break the mastectomy will be done on her left breast.
After a one month break, she will have radiation 5 times a week for 5 weeks.
Jill will probably have to wait 6 months after the radiation to have the reconstructive plastic surgery.
A good thing: Because Jill is "estrogen receptor positive", she will be able to take Tamoxifan for five years following the surgery. Thus reducing the risk of the breast cancer coming back.
